Research at ITERG covers 6 Strategic Areas of Research and Innovation (DRIS), which prefigure the main orientations for the profession for the 5 years to come.
Innovation provides a competitive edge by meeting the needs of the market.
Innovating, means creating new products and processes, optimizing existing products, and also developing one’s production system. Innovation is the pillar of ITERG’s strategy, one that includes a project-based organization, a strong synergy with partners and placing end-customers at the heart of the process.
ITERG integrates the specificities of academic research (public partnerships, international communication) and industrial strategy (confidentiality of results and market positioning). This raises a number of challenges, namely Intellectual Property Management.
For us at ITERG, Research integrates expertise and creativity, understanding industrial requirements and a prospective vision of the market.
As an ITC and Carnot Institute, ITERG, as all French public research institutes, is eligible for CIR tax relief (Crédit Impôt Recherche). A double tax deduction is applied for money invested in research.
